Ohio Power Company Command Center

About

What this is

The Ohio Power Company Command Center (aoecc.co) is a work-management platform for a utility distribution-engineering group: work assignment tracking, engineering request forms, field tools, and operational dashboards, on the web and in a companion mobile app.

It is an internal workplace tool. Accounts are provisioned by an administrator for engineering staff and authorized partners, so the application itself sits behind a sign-in. Public resources:

Text alerts (SMS program)

Registered users can optionally receive AOECC Text Alerts — transactional account notifications about engineering work assigned to them, such as outage-investigation dispatches and form-review requests, sent from our toll-free number. No marketing or promotional messages are ever sent.

How opt-in works

Consent is collected only inside the application: a signed-in user opens Account → Text alerts, enters their own mobile number, and checks an explicit consent box describing the message purpose, that message frequency varies, and that message and data rates may apply. Consent is never a condition of service, phone numbers are never shared with or purchased from third parties, and opting in for someone else is not possible.

Opting out and help

See the privacy policy for how personal information is handled. Mobile numbers and opt-in status are used solely to deliver these notifications.
